PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
James attended law school at Northern Illinois University College of Law in DeKalb, Illinois. During his time in law school, James earned a position on the Northern Illinois University Law Review as an editor and writer. During his last year in law school, James was able to utilize his 711 law license by arguing several motions to suppress with the Cook County Public Defender’s Agency in Chicago.
James started his career as a prosecutor for the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office in Indianapolis, Indiana. During that time, James gained experience in the courtroom, conducting several bench and jury trials. James’ passion for helping others led him to become a criminal defense attorney. As a criminal defense attorney, James has used his experience as a prosecutor to effectively advocate for the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Over the course of James’ career, he has represented people accused of a variety of offenses including traffic tickets, DUI, Battery, Domestic Battery, Strangulation, and other major felony charges. He has taken several cases to trial, and has received several not guilty verdicts. When defending yourself against the criminal justice system, you are in good hands with James.
In his spare time, James enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and fishing.
