FINDING OF NO PROBABLE CAUSE —- FIVE COUNT FELONY INFORMATION

On August 2, 2017, HIRSCH LAW GROUP staff trial attorney COLIN QUINN COMMITO proceeded to a preliminary hearing at Chicago Police Department BRANCH 38 located at 727 East 11th street.

Our client was charged with multiple counts of the felony possession and intent to deliver/manufacture a significant amount of heroin and cocaine.

Mr. Commito cross-examined the arresting officer, eliciting information that the officer had no knowledge of what was inside of an alleged item when exchanged between two individuals at the time of arrest.

The Judge ruled that the Chicago Police Officer arrested the client without probable cause and dismissed each count.

The client was not subsequently re-indicted.
